Contribution Calculation
Your contribution amount for each contribution cycle is calculated based on the Expected Balance in your Mutuality Plan Account and the overall needs of the community as detailed in the following steps:
  1. Determine Expected Balance: This is the balance of your Pledged Amount minus the total of all contributions you've made since the start of the plan.
  1. Calculate Individual Shared Contribution Amount:
  1. Your Individual Shared Contribution Amount is calculated by taking your Expected Balance and multiplying it by a shared ratio.
  1. Compute Shared Ratio:
  1. The shared ratio is found by dividing the Authorized Contribution Amount (the total amount required for all members’ eligible events for that cycle) by the combined Expected Balances of all members' accounts at that time.
  1. Assess Total Expected Balance:
  1. If the total Expected Balance in all members' accounts is less than the Authorized Contribution Amount, the total available balance will be divided pro-rata among the members participating in that contribution cycle.
  1. This pro-rata percentage is determined by dividing each member's Authorized Contribution Amount by the total Authorized Contribution Amount for that cycle. This process ensures that each member contributes a fair amount, relative to their pledge and the funds available in their account. It's designed to distribute the financial assistance needed for eligible events fairly among all members during each contribution cycle
Contribution Cycle
Each Monday, a notification regarding all incident that are eligible for contribution will be sent out to all members, and contribution calculation will be calculated and collected from all members next Monday.
Exit
If the member have no ongoing claim, they are eligible to quit the mutual plan anytime they desire. However, if there is an ongoing claim, they will be unable to quit. If a sale of the car under the mutual plan occurred, the member need to inform One Llama that a sale has occurred and that mutual plan need to be terminated.
